So, what does an IT Manager, Enterprise Applications do?
The IT Manager – Enterprise Applications is responsible for strategic oversight, governance, and execution of enterprise software platforms and cross-functional technology initiatives. This position manages five Project Manager / System Administrator roles supporting: D365 F&O, Ready Mix Dispatch, Aggregate Dispatch, CRM Administration, and Rail/Cement Dispatch.
- Lead and manage five direct reports across core enterprise platforms.
- Oversee ERP (D365 F&O), dispatch systems, CRM, and rail/cement software governance.
- Manage enterprise integration architecture and data integrity.
- Direct project portfolio management and executive reporting.
- Oversee vendor contracts, SLAs, and performance.
- Ensure system uptime, business continuity, and disaster recovery readines
Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (D365 F&O) and/or CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics CE, Slabstack).
- Understanding of system integration patterns (APIs, REST, SOAP, ETL) and data management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Working knowledge of SQL, databases, and SDLC/Agile methodologies.
- Experience with ITSM systems like DevOps or Jira is a plus.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP, ITIL Foundation, or Scrum Master certification.
- Application-specific certifications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce).
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- TOGAF or other architecture frameworks.
