As a Silvi Materials Maintenance Handyman, one will complete numerous tasks involved in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. By performing assigned task of maintaining and repairing the interior or exterior of company premises, you will ensure that our facilities are in top tier condition! One will demonstrate initiative, responsibility, have good interpersonal skills and are flexible/adaptive to a fast-paced and fluid business environment.

So, what does a Maintenance Handyman do?  You'll be an integral part of our operations team:

• Completing numerous and simultaneous tasks in:
• Carpentry
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Painting
• Perform maintenance and repairs in a well-organized manner
• Obtains, stores, records, safeguards and properly uses equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Maintains a safe, clean working area.
• Ability to drive a vehicle as needed.

Qualifications Required:

• Valid Drivers License
• At least 2 years similar work experience.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Graduation from a technical or skills trades school preferred but not required. 

In a typical work setting, people in this job:

• Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds on occasion.
• Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects
• Stand for long periods of time.
